Two people who are in love like to walk hand in hand or link arms - one of them will probably have to walk slower or faster to fall in step with the other one. They do it willingly because they enjoy each other’s company and want to be close. We need to learn how to fall into step with God, and to walk God's road, and love like God is taking every step with us. We will need to adapt in many ways. If we want to live close to Him and want to be in His presence every day of our lives, we will need to bring our way of life in line with His will. We will need to get to know ourselves, to discover God's purpose for our lives, and make a deliberate decision to glorify Him in everything we say and do. Only then will we truly manage to fall in step with God.
